Eligibility Criteria

tapeeno is designed for consumers and sole-traders who meet the following criteria:

• You plan to process less than £2,500 per month using the service
• You are operating as an individual or sole-trader.  The solution is not designed for limited companies or partnerships
• You plan to accept individual payments which are below the contactless limit of £100
• You are aged 18 or over

If you do not meet the above criteria you may be better suited to a full merchant services account. This would include the provision of a traditional Chip and PIN device.  We are able to provide full merchant accounts via our partner company, UTP Group.  Please contact them on 0330 99 99 300 or via [email protected] and they will be happy to discuss your options.
