Eligibility Criteria
Tapeeno is designed for consumers and sole-traders who meet the following criteria:
- Customers who plan to process less than €2,500 per month using the service;
- Customers who are operating as individuals or sole-traders. The solution is not designed for limited companies or partnerships;
- Customers who plan to accept individual payments which are below the contactless limit of €100;
- Are aged 18 or over.
It is likely that customers who do not fall into the above criteria are better suited to a full merchant services account which would include the provision of a traditional Chip and PIN device. We are able to provide full merchant accounts via our partner company, UTP Merchant Services.
